Room Inquiry Form

Thank you for requesting space at Anchor Bay Church for your event! Please submit inquiries at least a week in advance of the date you're hoping to use the space. We will try our hardest to accommodate your request! Priority will be given to ministries or mission partners of Anchor Bay. Please note that in the case of a church-wide event or holy day, we may ask regularly scheduled groups to change locations or cancel their meeting that week.

When do you need access to the room before the event starts if you need to get in early? This helps us know when to unlock the parking lot doors.

When your event will be wrapped up and when you'll be leaving the space - this is when we will re-lock the parking lot doors. 

Given staffing constraints, our caretaker is only able to handle set-up for church events. If you are renting the space for a personal event, we will ask you to handle set-up and tear down yourself, but we are happy to point you toward where to find things in the building as needed! Please note here what you are hoping to use (tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, etc.)

Where are you hoping this event will take place?

Anyone using the space will be required to abide by our Childcare policy, and for outside groups using the space, we will need you to sign an indemnification agreement. When children are present, parents/supervisors are responsible for their care and safety. All guest activities are restricted to the “Approved Areas.” All guests working with children for whom they are not the legal guardian must be CORI-checked by the church (even if CORI-checked by another organization). See below.

CORI'd adults must meet these requirements: a minimum of 2 adults (not related and age 18+), they must have a CORI form filled out by ABC (even if they have one at another organization), and the adults cannot be related or from the same family. If your adults need to be CORI checked, or you are unsure of their status, please reach out to Laurie Groff (laurie@anchorbyachurch.org) at least one week before your event.

We will respond with a reservation link (including a payment portal, if applicable) once we receive this form and confirm our availability.

"ABC Calendar" is our master event calendar for church events and leadership team meetings (this includes church ministry gatherings + full Board, Staff, or MTL meetings)

"Community Events Calendar" is for simple room reservations for community events and internal staff reservations for smaller meetings - these are things that do not need to be included on the master calendar (ex. volunteer ministry leader meetings, parlor use for a few staff members to connect for offline convos, etc.)

To avoid calendar cluttering, most events will go on one or the other calendar, but not both!
